Let me introduce you to one of the photography greats, Richard Fadera from Shuttered Light Photography and Video out of Los Angeles, CA. How did you get started?
Richard Fadera established Shuttered Light Photography in 2010. Before pursuing his passion in photography, he put his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering to good use working in a Semiconductor company.

He has an artistic side in capturing the light and started digital photography in 2007 with automotive and motor sports. He started focusing on photographing people and events by attending Master classes, workshops and learning from great artists. Today, he works as a full time Event Photographer.

Why do you do what you do?
It is Richard’s passion. Richard loves shooting engagements and weddings because of the interaction and raw emotions he is capturing. Aside from that, it is rewarding for him to see his client’s reactions when he delivers their wedding pictures and videos knowing that these will be treasured for more than a lifetime.

What continues to excite you about the industry
What excites me most is when clients turn into friends and friendors turn into family.

Shuttered Light Photography & Video was established in 2010 and is mainly composed by 2 brothers, Richard and Robbie, together with their talented creative team. They are based in Los Angeles California and cover Southern California – Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Barbara and Ventura County. They also love to travel for destination weddings.

Their goal is to tell your love story with photo journalistic mixed with styled photos and cinematic video. Shuttered Light Photography aims to give you the best experience on your wedding day. We have you in mind. They offer a one-stop-shop for photography and video services.

Aside from photo and video coverage, Shuttered Light also provide prints, albums, canvas and photobooth. They do not limit themselves with weddings but also cover other events to immortalize important milestones in your life.
